These tools were used in the implementation of the Connectivity Project in the Tenasserim Corridor in The Royal Princess Project, Suan Phung, Ratchaburi Province, to align with the foundation’s objective of supporting disaster relief efforts and enhancing the effectiveness of preventing the spread of wildfires.

WWF Foundation also recognizes the importance of The Predator Restoration and Conservation Project in the Mae Ping-Omkoi Forests, which consists of three protected areas: Mae Ping National Park, Omkoi Wildlife Sanctuary, and Mae Tuen Wildlife Sanctuary. These areas have significant potential for the conservation of various wildlife species, particularly tigers. The foundation supported the project by providing battery packs for camera traps and 19 water filters, to enhance the effectiveness of conducting efficient patrols. Including the improvement of the solar energy system in the Omkoi Wildlife Sanctuary to provide sufficient electricity for the ranger office and enhance the quality SMART patrol to be more efficient.

Additionally, WWF Foundation has supported the wildlife conservation in Hala Bala and Royal Belem forests, which serve as habitats for various large animal species, such as leopards, elephants, gaurs, Malayan bears, dholes, and possibly Sumatran rhinoceros. These forests are also a rich source of biodiversity, home to hornbills and various other bird species. The foundation provided camera traps, satellite phones, batteries for the camera traps, memory cards, hammocks and fly sheets, headlamps, sleeping bags, GPS devices, dehumidifying cabinets, and e-DNA sample collection kits. These tools will be used to survey wildlife, monitor deforestation, restore forest connectivity, and conduct quality patrols.
