  1. Background 

WWF Foundation has been registered under registration number GT 2776 since 18 July 2017. The Foundation implements conservation projects focused on natural resources and the environment, guided by the principles, scientific rigor, and global standards of WWF International. Its work in Thailand includes flagship initiatives such as the Kui Buri Wildlife Conservation Project, the Tiger Recovery Project, and Freshwater Resource Management programs, all aimed at achieving a sustainable balance between people and nature. Building on this foundation, WWF Foundation now seeks to expand local fundraising capacity to scale its programs and deepen its conservation impact across Thailand. 

Seeking to become an established and sustainable National Office within 4–5 years, we are investing in local fundraising capacity: recently hiring a new Fundraising Director and now seek to add two key contractors—a Corporate Engagement Manager and a Major Giving Manager—while strengthening the WWF Foundation Board of Directors who bring deep networks in business and philanthropy. 

2. Major Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Design and launch a “Corporate Club” to create an accessible way to engage many corporate partners in our programs efficiently and impactfully. 
  • Lead corporate donor cycle: prospecting, pitches, proposals, negotiations, and closing. 
  • Build multi-year partnerships (sponsorships, cause marketing, and explore new opportunities like blended-finance pilots. 
  • Develop a portfolio of new donors. 
  • Work closely with our fundraising team as well as the conservation, communications, and finance teams to design and secure sustainable, value-aligned, high-impact sponsorships. 
  • Track market trends and work with Fundraising Director to develop sector strategies and campaigns. 
  • Represent WWF Thailand at events; prepare and present Thai/English decks, briefs, and reports. 
  • Work with the Fundraising Director, CEO, and Board of Directors to identify and cultivate potential board members for WWF Foundation. 
  • Develop and implement workplans consistent with program objectives and the WWF Thailand 5-year strategy. 
  • Monitor deadlines and tangible achievements.

Required Qualifications

  • Expert fluency in Thai and English (spoken and written); confident presenter in both. 
  • 5–8+ years in working toward impactful partnerships  
  • Self-motivated and reliable 
  • Proven track record closing deals and managing senior client relationships. 
  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and project management. 
  • Excellent writing and storytelling; data-driven and deadline-reliable. 
  • Bangkok-based; willingness to travel domestically. 
  • Passion for nature and communities—scientific training not required. 
  • Business development or sales experience not required but a bonus. 

Working Relationships 

Internal: WWF Foundation fundraising staff and Board of Directors.  
External: WWF-Thailand Fundraising, Conservation, Finance, and Communications staff, as well as WWF Asia Pacific fundraising specialists and WWF-Network donor offices (WWF European and other national offices). Major prospective and current philanthropists, community leadersand corporate leaders.
