  1. Background 

WWF Foundation has been registered under registration number GT 2776 since 18 July 2017. The Foundation implements conservation projects focused on natural resources and the environment, guided by the principles, scientific rigor, and global standards of WWF International. Its work in Thailand includes flagship initiatives such as the Kui Buri Wildlife Conservation Project, the Tiger Recovery Project, and Freshwater Resource Management programs, all aimed at achieving a sustainable balance between people and nature. Building on this foundation, WWF Foundation now seeks to expand local fundraising capacity to scale its programs and deepen its conservation impact across Thailand. 

Seeking to become an established and sustainable National Office within 4–5 years, we are investing in local fundraising capacity: recently hiring a new Fundraising Director and now seek to add two key contractors—a Corporate Engagement Manager and a Major Giving Manager—while strengthening the WWF Foundation Board of Directors who bring deep networks in business and philanthropy. 

  1. Deliverables 
  • Build and manage a major-gifts portfolio; lead prospecting, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship. 
  • Design customized donor strategies: briefings, proposals, gift agreements, recognition plans, and impact reports (Thai/English). 
  • Orchestrate unique donor engagement opportunities, including dinners, field/site visits, and CEO/Board meetings. 
  • Develop and track pipelines for transformational gifts and multi-year pledges. 
  • Develop and implement workplans consistent with program objectives. 
  • Monitor deadlines and tangible achievements. 
  • Collaborate with the fundraising, conservation, communications, and finance teams to craft compelling cases for support and report verified and compelling results. 
  • Collaborate with leadership (Fundraising Director, CEO, Board of Directors) on donor strategy and board prospects and cultivation. 
  • Uphold donor confidentiality, ethical fundraising standards, and brand integrity. 

Required Qualifications 

  • Expert fluency in Thai and English (spoken/written); polished presenter and storyteller in both. 
  • 3–5+ years in individual giving. 
  • Self-motivated and reliable 
  • Proven ability to build trust with HNWIs and senior stakeholders; excellent negotiation and stewardship skills. 
  • Strategic, highly motivated individual with strong follow-through. 
  • Bangkok-based; willing to travel within Thailand for donor meetings and site visits. 
  • Passion for nature and communities—scientific training not required. 

Working Relationships 

Internal: WWF Foundation fundraising staff and Board of Directors.  
External: WWF-Thailand Fundraising, Conservation, Finance, and Communications staff, as well as WWF Asia Pacific fundraising specialists and WWF-Network donor offices (WWF European and other national offices). Major prospective and current philanthropists, community leadersand corporate leaders.
