Thailand’s forests are among the greenest areas in the world. Millions of square kilometers of forest
in Thailand are the origins of plants and wildlife species. However, amidst the growth of the economy and urban expansion, forest areas and the living creatures that sustain the completeness of ecosystems and food chains are being lost.
One of the main missions of WWF Foundation is to protect wildlife and raise public awareness of the threats to wildlife’s natural way of life. Since 2017, conservationists from WWF Foundation have been working closely with communities near wildlife habitats, fostering understanding and seeing the “mutual benefits” between humans and wildlife by integrating
scientific knowledge with area based to ensure that activities are designed to maximize the benefits for humans and wildlife, allowing them to coexist in the same environment in balance.
