WWF Foundation has a policy of maintaining confidentiality of information of donors or any person who visits the Foundation's website as follows:

Visiting the WWF Foundation website

You can visit the Foundation's website to search for information related to the Foundation and ways to help the Foundation without having to provide any information about yourself to the Foundation. The Foundation can continuously improve the Foundation's website and may use software tools to collect behavioral data.

To search for information on visitors to the Foundation's website for the purpose of improving the website to reach the target group. The information collected includes the date and time of visits to the website, views of various web pages, time spent on visits, types of searches, internet service providers, and visits to various websites both before and after visiting the Foundation's website.

Collection and retention of personal data

The Foundation's donor-related information will be used only for lawful purposes of the Foundation's operations. The Foundation will collect personal information by directly requesting information from you as part of the donation process. If you choose to provide personal information such as your address, e-mail address, telephone or fax number, regional characteristics of residence, and your donor identification number to the Foundation, the Foundation will keep such information confidential.
In addition, when a donor sends an e-mail to the Foundation, the Foundation will keep the contents of the e-mail, the donor's e-mail address, and any e-mail correspondence confidential.

Disclosure of Personal Information

The Foundation will not allocate or sell personal information of donors to other external parties for independent use. In addition, the Foundation will not disclose personal information of donors to any other organizations, except:
1. The donor has requested and given authority to the Foundation or
2. The disclosure is permitted or required by law. For example, the Foundation may be required to disclose information about its donors in response to a court order or subpoena.
