Supported by WWF Foundation Thailand, the Center for Public Assistance on Wildlife (CPAW) was officially opened on October 2, 2024, National Parks Day. Dr. Chalermchai Sri-on, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, presided over the ceremony. With World Wide Fund for Nature (Thailand), the center’s office on the 12th floor of the Seub Nakhasathien Building has undergone renovations.

The goal of this initiative is to create a more harmonious coexistence between people and wildlife. By providing timely assistance to communities affected by human-wildlife conflict and promoting ecological citizenship, we aim to reduce property damage, protect wildlife, and foster a greater understanding of the importance of wildlife conservation.
